Juan les Pins sings the heart of the French Riviera with its stunning sea front promenade opposite sea view residences, beach clubs and classy restaurants. Whether its for an easy weekend stroll as a couple, family or with friends, its an ideal small town for soaking up the sun and enjoying the view!

Juan les Pins has many cafés, cocktail bars and clubs which mainly come alive in the Summer with its open air nightly market and holiday vibe. Yet in the Winter it boasts a calm yet warm atmosphere, allowing locals to swim in the clear waters nearly all year round!

It is home to the well renowned Jazz Festival which hosts world famous artists, not only with jazz music but pop, soul and funk music too. Stevie Wonder among some of our favorites!

People and Neighbourhoods

Neighboring towns include close-by Antibes attracting luxury yachts to anchor off the Cap enjoying the views, Cannes and its ever so glamorous Cannes Film Festival and Croisette a short 20 min drive away, and a bit further away is Nice, and its »Promenade des Anglais» and International Nice Cote d’Azur airport, 30-45 min drive away. Monaco and its notorious yacht show, grand prix and Oceanographic museum is about 1 hour’s drive away from Juan les Pins.

Further away but still within easy reach is Italy – either by train or car, the Italian border is only 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Juan les Pins. You can go on a day trip or romantic weekend to Ventimiglia, San Remo and neighboring cities.

Also very close by and easily accessible are the area’s schools and universities, such as the renowned CIV (»College International de Valbonne), allowing children with non-French speaking backgrounds to attend the region’s top school. There are also private schools with many foreign children from ages 3 to 16 within walking distance from the Juan les Pins centre. Plus many children’s activities including the national famous gymnastics club who have held the 32nd consecutive title as French champions (with Olympic qualifiers among them!). Juan les Pins also has great gyms for fitness fanatics with many facilities for sports.

Sophia Antipolis, a short 15 min drive from Juan les Pins, is home to universities such as »L’université Nice Sophia Antipolis» and also has a business school, SKEMA, popular among overseas students.

What you will love

Whether you love swimming, scuba diving, sailing, paddle boarding, gym or just going for leisurely strolls and shop browsing, you’ll love Juan les Pins as it can cater for all of those activities and more!

You’ll fall in love with the laid back atmosphere and chilled, friendly vibe along its sandy beaches, but also with its practical side with all its facilities near by.

Scorching summers with long balmy evenings set the pace for 4 months of the year in Juan les Pins. Spring and early autumn don’t see the sun go down before 7-8pm, giving you plenty of hours in the day to explore and enjoy the city.
The summer months are usually very busy, with the tourist season at its peak, making the streets buzz with life!
