Welcome to Calpe

The historic town of Calpe is located on the Costa Blanca coast and benefits from some of the best beaches in the region, as well as an average of 325 sunny days each year. Protected from winds by the surrounding mountains, it´s an ideal destination for sun lovers, and clients come from all over the world in search of this year-round dry climate.

Originally colonised by the Romans, whose legacy can still be seen in some local archaeological sites, the ancient fishing town of Calpe has grown into a vibrant modern town, boasting many blue flag sandy beaches, fine dining restaurants, weekly markets, lively bars and a wide choice of activities. The shallow, warm and sparkling Mediterranean Sea offers great water sports activities and is ideal for families, children, couples and solo buyers.

The town is named after ´Peñón de Ifach´, the famous limestone rock that rises to over 332 meters high and is the focal point of the area. Hikers are rewarded with the most amazing panoramic views that stretch all the way to Ibiza. The area surrounding the rock is a nature reserve and has thriving wildlife, a fantastic destination for nature lovers. At the foot of the rock is La Pobla de Ifac, a medieval walled village.

An elegant seaside promenade runs the length of the waterfront, starting from the beautiful historic old town in the south and stretching nearly 4km towards the north. Strollers are rewarded with many notable sights in the sunshine, from the town´s thriving marina to the stunning nature reserve, with many cafes and restaurants to enjoy along the way.

Ideally placed to access the major airports of Alicante and Valencia by road, Calpe also has easy access local public transport systems, including the picturesque tram ride, making it a perfect destination for exploring the fabulous coastline and surrounding areas.
